However, a closer examination of Martinez's financial history reveals a troubling pattern of debt and financial mismanagement. Public records show that she has had millions of dollars in judgments entered against her in court, with some still outstanding. Her wages have been garnished, automobiles repossessed, and properties foreclosed upon.

Furthermore, the Maryland Stadium Authority, which is overseen by Martinez's new board, has a 35-year financial history marked by controversy and mismanagement.
